I saw this and reached for the camera. :)

This is how Sammy ran around at Aunt Stacy's while Elsie was at school the other day. Guess what he might have to be for Halloween... :)

Is it really time to unpack the sweaters AND....

the nebulizer already?!

That's right, we have two little wheezers, but at least at this point they are on an upward trend and getting better, not sicker!

Catch-Up

At a recent summer get-together at Grandma G.'s, Grandma had made a homemade pinball game for the kids. What a hit!

She also had the kids play a game where they had to carry/balance a marshmallow on their forehead all the way over to a bucket. Lots of laughing!

Sam had a little luck, his marshmallow was extra sticky. Thanks Grandma. ;)

But sticky marshmallows don't fall off in the bucket as easy... haha :)

Before Uncle Gary and Aunt Sara went off to California, we all went on a boat tour. Something none of us had done in a LONG time.

An attempt at a family picture...haha. :)

A picnic by the river!

We never found a monarch egg this year, so we didn't get to hatch a Monarch caterpillar. But we DID make it to the island to see the butterfly house.

Watching the lions take a "catnap", on a recent trip to the zoo.

The zoo has had many updates since we were there two summers ago. We just loved watching the lemurs from their outside window. They have such beautiful eyes!

Penguins!

Tiger spotting.

First Day of Preschool!!

Yesterday was Elsie's first day of preschool, and unlike last year, she was hardly nervous at all! Here she is anxiously waiting outside.

I think part of the reason for her not being nervous was because her cousin Brendan was going to be in her class. Here he comes, ready to rumble! Look at the smile!

Their bags were almost as big as them!

Although blurry, I like this picture because she's peeking into her classroom with a smile on her face. :)

She found her cubby!

And here's how Samuel passed some of the time while his big sister and cousin were at school, checking out the fish at the aquarium.

They were still smiling when we picked them up, and Elsie's been reminding me that I have to take her back to school on Wednesday. They are growing too fast! Just think... next year it'll be KINDERGARTEN!! :)

Oh, and here's one more of Mr. Brendan! We'll see you Wednesday!

Elsie, a.k.a, "Eva the Robot". :)

Jacob, not really sure what to think of "Eva",

Still not sure...

Ok, so these are a random bunch of photos... :) Here's my homeade salsa simmering. Thanks for all th wonderful fresh tomatoes Grandma G.!

And here's Daddy occupying all the kiddos so I could make that salsa. :) haha... They just love making tents with their Daddy.

We've started an apple theme around here. Thanks to my Aunt Joann for the inspiration!

"a" for apple

And the kids can tell you all about Johnny Appleseed, a.k.a John Chapman. :) Thanks Aunt Joann for the wonderful crafts!

Ta Da!

And here comes an apple necklace.

Finished product!

Elsie was very careful about getting her pattern right. :)

Elsie said "Mom look, it's Johnny Appleseed!"

Little drink swiper...

Before breakfast snack haha! It was an eggs, toast, and bacon morning, so they needed something to tie them over!

Jacob, just a spinning away.

A kickin' and a crawlin (and playing with his tongue..haha)'!
