Russell's B-Day

Over this past weekend we went over to Grandma G. and Rick's to sing happy birthday to Uncle Russell. Here's the birthday boy, being silly as usual!

Everyone enjoyed Grandma G.'s delicious oil and vinegar chocolate cake!

Happy Sam.

The little/big kid's table!

This is interesting. I guess Brendan was in a sharing kind of mood!

Brendan loving baby Sam.

This is random, but here's the kids re-discovering old toys.... (for Elsie anyway!) Samuel is getting to be such a big boy!

This and That

Elsie making beautiful jewelry!

Our little "spider girl", looking quite boyish. Sam in the background thinking, "hey those are MY jammies!" (Yes, they pretty much can share clothes...) :)

Collecting leaves for a neat project found at this link The Mailbox Teachers Magazine

Coloring her Fall leaves.

Sorting leaves by color, and getting ready to make our own Autumn tree.

Isn't it beautiful!?

Old McDonalds Farm

We had a fun time with cousins at Old McDonalds Farm over the weekend. This is a VERY heavy-on-the-pictures post!

For some reason most of the goats scattered when we entered their pen. ;)

The big white goat was sound asleep.

Shhh!

The oldest cow in our county.

Elsie's name was on the trolley. Oh dear.... ;)

Husking corn for the cows...

Sam was ready to feed the cows too!

Whoa! Don't eat my girl!

Stopping for lunch...

Elsie and Boomer.

The corn maze...

Elsie and the "treasures" she collected along the way.

At the end of a fun-filled afternoon, Elsie was exhausted...

But this Samuel was NOT!

Elsie demonstrating how to "eat" corn. Thank you for spending a fun afternoon with us Aunt Stacy, Ava, and Brendan!!
