My "Tater" Tee and Visit with a Friend

Yeah, if I haven't told you already, Daddy has called me "Tater" since I was really little, and Grandpa D. likes to call me that too. So Grandma D. had Aunt Sara make me a couple tee shirts. Here is my favorite one (it has a kitty on it!).

See the kitty? When I remember it's there I always try to pull it off.

Mommy and I went to visit Sarah today. She is visiting from North Carolina. She took pictures of me and showed them to me on her camera. We'll see you again really soon!

Visit With Grandma G.

Today Mommy and I went to visit at Grandma G.'s. I got to play outside with Grandma and Uncle Ben and Uncle Russell. When I got home I got my hammer and helped Daddy work outside.

I had fun at Grandma's. She let me dip in the pool with my clothes on!

I LOOOOVE the pool, but HATE the beach. Thanks for a fun visit!!

My Animal Sounds

Beach, No Thanks...

So we took Elsie to the beach for the first time thinking she'd love it.... Boy were we wrong. As soon as she sat on her towel and the sand stuck to her sunscreened feet she went crazy. She flipped out even more when we went up to the water to clean her feet off. She held her feet out straight and refused to put them down, and was yelling something awful. It sounded like we were torturing the poor child! She hated the water. Maybe I shouldn't have told her there were "fishies" in the water. So after something like 5 minutes on the beach, we found the swings instead...

"Look Mommy, I think I saw a fish jump over there."

There was no way she was going to smile for the camera!

"Mommy and Daddy, I can find OTHER ways to cool myself off, see?"

Mystery Spots!

Last night Elsie came in the kitchen after playing in the other room, with these strange spots on her head. We couldn't figure out how she got them. Later I found a little toy brush with hard plastic bristles on her blanket, so we are guessing she decided to brush her forehead.... Or she put layed down on her brush. Ouch! She never cried though so it couldn't have been that bad! Silly kid.

A Nap Skipper

When babies skip (refuse) their naps, they find a blanket on the floor to be very appealing.

They don't have to be told to put their head down and go to sleep.

Then when it's dinner time.... this happens!

On Sunday we went over to Grandma D's because her birthday was Saturday. Grandma let me open this gift from Aunt Sara and Uncle Gary. I love my new doggy! He barks and sniffs and moved his legs.


And I also got this new big girl chair. I'm looking forward to trying it out! Thank you so much Aunt Sara and Uncle Gary!

A Wedding Blessing

Over the weekend my Aunt Stacy and Uncle Paul got their wedding blessed. Here they are with Ava and Brendan and my (great) Grandma and Grandpa H.

Afterwards we went to Grandma G.'s and I got to play with Uncle Pat. He's fun!

Aunt Jenny and Grandpa Rick sang some songs on Grandma's Karaoke Machine (The big girls Georgia, Josie, and Ava sang too, maybe I can put a sampling up later!).

Look at me!! I went to my cousin's house today and rode Jasmin (I think? Or was it Zatty?) the horse! After that she tickled me with her nose.

It's My Birthday!

I'm the birthday girl!

I had my party yesterday. We got to play "pin the tail on the kitty"! I got the hang of it after watching the big girls.

We all got pretty close!

Mommy even made a pinata for my party. I watched the big girl's and uncle Russell from the window. Here is Georgia making Daddy nervous. She is a pro with that bat!

Here is my kitty cake Mommy made (cakes!). We still have one left over, so it looks like Daddy is going to have a kitty cake for HIS birthday too, on Wednesday.

I couldn't believe everyone was singing to ME!

I did get a LITTLE messy though!

I even got a new friend. His name is Richie.
