Elsie Laughter

Here is Elsie laughing at her Mommy! I must be really funny, or she's just very easily amused.

Christmas Eve

"In the afternoon Mommy's friend Sarah came to visit all the way from North Carolina. Mommy was very happy to see her and she even brought me some paper to rip! Thank you Sarah!"

"Here I am getting ready for Daddy to read me "Twas The Night Before Christmas". I just love looking at all the pretty pretty lights!"

"Now Daddy says it's bedtime. We'll see about that!"

Christmas Morning

"Here I am with Daddy after I first woke up. I was excited, my Christmas tree lights aren't usually on this early!"

"....and I just couldn't believe that Santa really ate the cookies and milk Daddy and I left for him!"

"Here is Daddy making a nice breakfast."

"After breakfast it was time to give Daddy the gift I made for him. I think he liked it."

"There were even some packages with my name on them!"

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa D.'s

"Later on in the morning we went to Grandma and Grandpa D.'s. It was so nice to see them and my Aunts. Here I am with a very bright, soft blanket that I got from Aunt Sara and Uncle Gary. Aunt Sara said she made it herself!"

"Well it looks like I better get saving! Thanks Aunt Keely."

"Oh I love paper!"

"Some more pretty, pink clothes!"

"Here I am fed up because Mommy and Daddy just kept taking away all my paper."
"Before we left to do more visiting, Grandma D. held me up so I could look out the window."

Christmas at Grandma G.'s and Rick's

"Later on in the afternoon we went to Grandma G. and Rick's house. It was fun to see them and so many of my Aunts, Uncles and cousins! Here I am dressed up like Santa. I think I tricked everyone into thinking I was the real thing!"

"Then Mommy showed everyone that it was just me!"

"Here is my cousin Emeline. She is just my size!"

"Emmy and I."

"Here I am with my Aunt Cassie. I don't get to see enough of her!"
"Here is Aunt Stacy, baby Brendan, Georgia and Josie checking out Ava's new digital camera."

Here's Why The NY Giants Won Today!!

When we got back from lunch Elsie showed her team spirit by sporting her NY Giants attire for good luck. I guess it worked! ;)

Daddy's in Buffalo

"Today I went to lunch with Mommy, Grandma D., Aunt Sara, Aunt Keely, Aunt Courtney, and Kory, because Daddy is in Buffalo with Grandpa D., Uncle Tom, and his friend Joe watching the NY Giants play! We are very excited and hope that Daddy has lots of fun and gets to see his favorite team win."

"On Friday we had dinner at Great Grandpa D.'s house. Grandma let me touch an ornament on the pretty Christmas tree." (Thanks for the picture Sara, although I'm not sure why it showed up so small!)

Candy Wreaths

I made some fudge in the shape of wreaths to give to our neighbors. They came out pretty nice. Thanks Rachael Ray! :)

bouncy baby

As you can tell by another recent post, Elsie loves "standing up"as long as she has something to lean up against (she wouldn't be able to do it any other way).

This morning she was standing on the couch, and when she would start to slump down she'd bounce right back up!

This is one of the looks she makes when she is feeling her new teeth.

Elsie has been doing a lot of this lately... We aren't sure if she just discovered her tongue, or is feeling those two little bottom teeth pushing their way through. Either way, she looks pretty silly!
