Oh dear Bailey.... They did this for a minute until we decided Bailey had had enough! The puppy thinks she is one of the kids!
Over the weekend we visited Grandma and Grandma H. (Greats). It was a beautiful day for a visit. :)
Matt helped Grandpa load up the wagon for a ride down to the train tracks. Grandpa made this wagon himself many years ago. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their wagon ride behind Grandpa's tractor. Thanks Grandpa!!

Since the Queen Anne's Lace supply is in excess around here, we decided to borrow Aunt Joann's idea and dye some of them for fun. We added food coloring to their water and Elsie and Sam checked them many times throughout the day for a few days, to see how they were changing. 
Here they are checking them out.

They turned out very lovely I must say!
A couple weeks ago we went to to see Aunt Jenny and the girls, in search of a monarch butterfly caterpillar or egg to take care of and watch grow. We found three eggs and two of them hatched! On the left side was Suzie the day she hatched, and on the right side is Sue the day after she hatched. (Elsie named them) Unfortunately Sue grew MUCH faster than Suzie, and then by mistake (I hope!)was devoured by Sue while she was munching a leaf. Oh dear! We told Elsie she crawled out the window. :)

Eww! And kissing her too! Oh, by the way, we oviously have no idea if "Sue" is a boy or girl caterpillar. Elsie decided on her own that they we girls. 
A few days after these pictures were taken Sue made her chrysalis! So hopefully soon we'll be updating on Sue the Monarch Butterfly!

Boy! We found out this morning that Samuel and Elsie will have a new baby brother soon (expected December 27, but we'll be ready by November 27th)! They made a banner and here are a couple attempts to get a shot of them both holding it... haha. :)

The only way I got them to "hold" it is with their mouths. My little dinosaurs. :) We are very excited for baby number three!! We just pray that everything continues to go healthy and well.
