Purple Butterflies

Yeah, so today I went for a walk to get ice cream in my PURPLE stroller, wearing THIS purple butterfly dress and a man called me a little boy! This happens about once every week or two lately. Mommy and Daddy say they love me just the way I am though and that I can grow my hair when ever I'm ready.

My Day

Today I got to go to Grandma G.'s. I saw all my cousins there, and had sweet corn for the very first time. I loved it!
(despite the scrunched up face!)

I had three pieces. Mmmm! (added up to a whole ear)

When I was done though I decided to stick the cob in my ear, so in the car on the way home I cleaned it out really good.

This morning I found that my book basket makes a really nice place to sit.

Then Mommy put the books back in, but that didn't stop me. I still fit just fine.

All that climbing in and out tired me right out, so I snuggled up on my "nest".

Sometimes Daddy tries to sneak up on me when I am on my nest, but he can't fool me! I see you Daddy!

Mommy says when my new baby brother or sister gets here I'm going to have to share my pillow, but I don't know about that....

Adventures with Baby Doll

So anyways....

I was sitting by the front door watching Daddy put siding on the garage and looking at the cherries on my capris when...

I noticed my baby doll was way up high!

How does crazy stuff like this happen?!

Well it only took a little holler to Mommy, and she got baby doll down safe and sound.

Yesterday I found the perfect hat for baby doll while I was having my snack.

Isn't it FUNNY?! I sure thought so!

This and That

I picked out my clothes today so Mommy couldn't resist taking a picture. I just had to wear this kitty shirt, even though Mommy said it was to wear around Halloween. I don't even know what that is Mom! I just like kitties, that's all.

Then Mommy asked me where my nose was. I showed her all right! She said if I kept this up we won't be able to play the "where's your nose" game anymore, but she'd let it slide just this once! I'm still not sure what I did wrong, I mean I pointed to my nose, didn't I?

Mommy and Daddy are a little bit concerned over my recent attachment to this Boppy pillow. I just LOVE running and belly flopping on it...

or laying in it....

Or just sitting in it. A lot of times I curl up with a good book. I can sit in it all afternoon! Mommy and Daddy call it my "nest". Whatever you want to call it guys! It's just a cozy spot, that's all.

Surprise Party

Today Aunt Cassie threw a surprise party for Roger. I got to meet her pet snake Milly. I didn't want to get too close though!

They had a bubble machine, but I was afraid of it. I kept on making the "yucky" face and sound. Georgia, Ava, Josie and Emmy enjoyed it though, and got covered in bubbles! I just watched.

On Saturday, after a two hour drive, we arrived at a family reunion for Mommy's side of the family. Great Grandpa H. got to blow the candles out on his 80th birthday cake!

When we got home, this Walking Stick bug was there to greet us on our shutters! I liked looking at him, as long as we didn't get too close.

I got a new book today because I was such a good girl at the doctor's office. Daddy read it to me when he got home. I showed him where the bubbles were.

Then I pointed to a baby for him to see.

I got one shot at the doctor's office, but I got over it really quick and ripped not one, but two band-Aids off after the nurse put them on. I weighed 20 pounds and 7 1/2 ounces, and was 29 inched tall. The doctor said I am average. Oh, and the doctor said my ears looked just fine! Oops Mommy and Daddy, I tricked you!
