Pretty Lights

We don't have a tree yet, but I'm getting anxious for Elsie. I decided to decorate a fake decorative tree we had in our living room. Elsie really liked watching the lights blink. She was also pretty impressed with the bulbs (Don't worry, they are plastic!).

Decorating

Today Matt went upstairs and brought down our Christmas decorations. Elsie was very helpful at deciding where things should go. She especially liked the tinsel. It was fun trying to pry it out of her hands... my fault ;)

Exercising

Elsie has been spending more and more time on her belly to exercise her neck and make it stronger (doc's orders!). She's been doing pretty well with this. She has even rolled over a couple times from her belly to her back!

But all that exercise makes for a very tired baby. She went outside to see Daddy's new garage doors, and this how he returned her. Or maybe Daddy bored her with all his "garage talk". ;)

At least we know our little "pink puff" was warm!

Pictures From Aunt Sara

"Yesterday we had a nice dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's and Aunt Sara, Aunt Courtney and Kory, Aunt Keely, and Great Aunt Pat were there too. Aunt Sara took all of these nice pictures and Mommy just HAD to post them for you all to see!"

"Cheeeese!"
"Here's me with Grandma wishing I could taste all the yummy looking food..."

"Keely and I had a nice conversation. Mommy loves this picture."

"Here is Daddy making sure my talking button still works."

"Keely makes me laugh!"

"Here is me with Grandma and Grandpa D. Thanks for the pictures Aunt Sara!"

Friday at Grandma G.'s

Little Brendan is growing so fast. He sure is a little cutie pie!

Three little girls (Georgia, Ava and Josie) struck a pose while their Mommies made their plates for them.
Here is Matt, remembering how to hold a newborn baby.

Brendan was all wide eyed and soaked up lots of attention.

It feels like so long ago when Elsie was this small!

Emmy did NOT like her turkey dinner.

The BIG girl's table.
"Wow, that dolly has some crazy hair!"

"Guy talk"

Emmy didn't like seeing her Mommy holding another baby!

Emmy and Grandma.

Ava was wondering when it was going to be her turn, but Uncle Ben was having too much fun!

A busy bunch, and Ava is still waiting... :)

Pretty Theresa and adorable Brendan.

Another of Theresa and Brendan!

Emmy wasn't sure if she'd rather stay with Rick, or go back to Grandma. "Mom where are you?!"
Emmy tried out her new jumper. She'll get the hang of it!

"Wow, Mommy/Aunt Jenny sure is silly!"

A pile of kids! (Ava, Josie and Emeline)

Theresa and Anthony, a good looking pair! It was nice to see them.

Thanksgiving 2007! We wish John and Cassie could have been here.

Ready for Turkey Day 3

Here is Elsie trying to take her late morning nap to get ready for another big day. We had another Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma and Grandpa D.'s.

She was determined to stay awake.

Mommy and Daddy won in the end though.

Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa D.'s

"I was very conversational today."

"Here is me with Grandma and Aunt Sara."

"Someday I'll have teeth like Grandma."

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful day with family and friends.

Here is Elsie Rae having her first cereal. She seemed to enjoy it and was really proud of herself. About half an hour later when she was having her bath (which she normally LOVES) she got really fussy and this lasted into the night, so we have decided that Elsie's tummy isn't ready for solids. We won't try again for awhile, although her pediatrician said he'd like her to start fruits, vegetables, and cereal now and be eating at least three meals of these things a day by the time he sees her for her next appointment at 6 months (she is 4 months right now).

A Nice Visit

Today we went over to Jenny and Brad's and had a very nice visit with Aunt Jenny, Uncle Brad, Aunt Stacy, and cousins Georgia (there wasn't school today), Josie, Emmy, Ava and Brendan. Here's a happy baby after a little snooze in Emmy's swing.

Like father like son! Brendan is looking more and more like his Daddy (If that is possible!)!

Georgia gave us some nice entertainment and sang a song while the little girls, Ava and Josie, danced.

Nice job girls!

Brendan just kind of..."hung out"! He seemed to really enjoy the show.

Happy Mommy and Baby

I contracted Georgia to take this picture for me! So many babies.... and they seem to all get hungry at the same time!
