Elsie and Brendan had lots of fun at Brendan's third birthday party. Brendan was Spiderman! Here are the little kids playing under the parachute. It was a hit. :)

We picked our pumpkins and got our apples. The kids got right to work on them as soon as we got home. ;)

This is what was left of Elsie's apple after she finished. I guess we'll have to have a little lesson on eating just the apple and leaving the core before she makes an attempt at the next one! ;)

Over the weekend we went on our yearly trip to pick out pumpkins and get apples! Here's the kiddos in front of the big pumpkin (which needs a fresh coat of paint!). We'll post more pictures later.

Pumpkin Pie

We made our first pumpkin pie of the season! Here are the kiddos doing the scoopin' and seed separating. They thought the pumpkin insides were gross, so they are making their "ewww" faces. :)

Samuel was very impressed by the pie crust Elsie and I whipped up while he was napping. We did forget to take a picture of the final product though, but it was delicious! Happy October everyone!
