Easter Eggs

Our little Easter/Spring egg animals. Cute aren't they!

Getting ready to color Easter eggs... Notice Samuel smelling his egg. No big deal right?

Two seconds later... OOPS! Guess we overestimated his Easter egg coloring capacity! The egg never made it to the dye, and he tried it out shell and all. Thats our boy!! :)

Here comes the scolding from big sis! (One less Easter egg to hunt.)

Yes Sam, I think you spilled some dye, and yes your fingers are yellow. :) (Jaundice flashback?)

Come on Dad that's not very vibrant, you can do better than that!

"Dear Sarah W., thank you so much for the letter and bookmarks! I had fun visiting with you a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully I'll see you again soon and we can read more books together. Love, Elsie Rae"

Margie Sue's Birthday

The birthday girl! We celebrated her first birthday this past Saturday.

Doesn't she look so sweet?

One year old already...

Samuel found Bandit!

Ava's ready to play pin the nose on Elmo. ;)

Great job Sam! If only you were a little taller! ;)

They tricked poor Georgia! She wasn't even on the right wall!

There you go Georgia! They straightened you out.

When Elsie got home she wanted an apple, must be to offset all that sugar! (I love how she was taking sporadic bites!)

Then that night she came to the dinner table like this. She said she had a "boo boo" on her chin. She found herself a band-aid, and I'm not sure what the unopened alcohol pad was for.... :)

She managed to eat her dinner with it on though! So silly...

Snack time kids?! This is what happened when I set the goldfish on a stool and went to grab a different snack for Elsie... All in the matter of a few seconds. Guess he was hungry, but at least he was willing to share! ;)

What a mess!

Sam and "Big Dog".

He makes this goofy face a lot. :)

"Elsie, do you know there's a cat on your head?

It's still there.

Wrestling buddies.

Aww, they love each other. :)

Within minutes of seeing this craft on Aunt Jenny's blog, we were gathering our materials to make some ourselves! We didn't have brown paper or yarn, so we used twigs. Pretty cute huh?

We were getting ready to go and Elsie was just walking around the house like this, with her hands in her pockets and hat on. Must have been a brisk morning!

Sam waiting patiently for a lick of Elsie's ice cream cone.

Birthdays

We were happy to have those who could make it over to celebrate Grandma G. and Theresa's birthday. Here's Georgia and her "zoo".

We sang to Uncle Ben's girlfriend Tracy too, who also had a birthday refcently.

Grandma G. and Theresa, blowing out the candles on their oil and vinegar chocolate cake that I forgot to put the vinegar in. It still tasted good!

Waiting for cake and ice cream.

Little Margie likes toy cars.

Emmy and "Thundercap".

Kissing cousins.

Sam receiving a hug from sweet Emmy.

Grandma G. and Rick.

Who are you talking to Sam?

So glad you could make it Theresa and John!

Playing under the picnic table after the guests left!
