Elsie entertaining Samuel. :-)
Playing a memory game with Mom and Dad. Yeah, we made it really easy. ;-)
Watch Them Grow
While at the beach last weekend we collected some rocks for Elsie to paint. She especially likes her lady bug rocks that she painted (with Mommy's help!).
Elsie just loves pretending she's a mommy and taking her baby boy doll for a walk. It makes me kind of nervous on the busy road, that's why it only happens when Daddy is home (for extra reinforcement).
It was a very hot day, so Sam didn't mind having this cold washcloth on his head one bit, to help keep him cool.
Of course when Elsie pushes her own stroller, she gets a little behind (those little legs can't quite keep up), that's where Daddy comes in.
We celebrated Aunt Courtney's birthday over the weekend. Look at all those candles!
Here's the birthday Aunt and little Samuel.
Elsie thought she was just so cool taking pictures of everyone.
She even took one of baby "Banana".
What a little ham!
Samuel wanted to sit in the highchair like a little frog.
On Sunday we got together at Grandma G. and Ricks house to celebrate Uncle Brad and Aunt Stacy's birthday and Margie's Baptism. Here is Uncle Russell showing Elsie how to wear her hat the "cool" way, whatever that may be.
Samuel was a happy camper, but only after his nap.
Here's the cake Aunt Jenny made for the occasion. I thought this was a cute shot. Emmy decided that she was going to be the first to try the frosting! :)
Elsie made Aunt Stacy a birthday card.
Georgia and Josie showed off a lot of their hard work from the recent school year. Good job girls!
Samuel showed Grandma G. just how big he is.
Here he is giving her "the look".
Grandma took turns snuggling each of the babies. Here's Margie as snug as a big in a rug. That wind got a little chilly last evening.
Elsie found Aunt Jenny's sun glasses...
And tried on Emmy's for size too.
Samuel discovered a flower and just couldn't stop staring at it. He almost went cross eyed trying to focus on that flower, or weed, whatever it was.
Elsie being her silly self. She actually asked me to take a picture of her. She thought she was being pretty funny with that bib over her head.
Just to keep up the humor, she tried on Samuel's pants for size. Of course she thought she was being pretty hilarious here also. :)
This is a birthday week. There is a birthday to celebrate every day! Happy Birthday Grandma H.!! We love you and hope you had a lovely day yesterday!
I had to throw this picture in again because I love it! I was going to put up more pictures of those celebrating birthdays this week but I have both babies hollering and don't have a chance right now. Maybe later! Enjoy your birthday messages from Elsie though!
The other day Grandpa (Bampa) D., stopped over. As he was leaving, Elsie watched out the window untill he was out of sight, saying "where did Bampa go?"
Samuel isn't a fan of that tummy time, but we all know he needs it to exercise those neck muscles for supporting that large head of his!
Such a sweet big sister...
Samuel got to sit in the high chair the other day while trying his first few bites of baby cereal. I think he was more impressed with the seat than the food!
Well it looks like warm weather might be here to stay! I guess we better get Elsie a swimsuit. ;) Oh, I love Samuel's expression in this one!
On Saturday Elsie and Samuel got to hang out with cousins Ava and Brendan. Here is Elsie in Ava's really cool room that her Mom and Dad have been working on for her. You know a kid is having fun when they have chalk dust on their nose, and play dough on their shirt! ;)
Elsie and the proud inhabitant herself!
Here's father and daughter on Father's Day. We spent most of the day getting ready for a house showing. We had a couple coming to look at our house mid afternoon, but Daddy was able to relax and enjoy his kids for the ladder half of the day! He sure is a great Daddy!
And father and son!
Elsie had a long day... :-) She fell asleep right in the middle of dinner at Grandma and Grandpa D.'s!
A couple Father's Day Daddy and son shots...
The afternoon ended up being nice, and we were able to get outdoors. Here's Elsie enjoying bubbles blown by grandma.

Today we got to go to Ava's school and see her graduate from Kindergarten! Way to go Ava!!!! We are so proud of you and glad we could make it.
Elsie was VERY excited to see school buses outside Ava's school.
Afterward Brendan was quite impressed with that baby Margie Sue, as she carried on a conversation with him. :)
For lunch we went to a nearby light house on the lake. It was just beautiful. Here are the kids attempting to look through the telescope.
The big girls club. ;-)
and the little girls, peeking.
Margie Sue had the right idea, and she's recently discovered her thumb (so sweet).
Here is the light house. Mom used to bring us here as kids to have picnics by the water.
After our picnic we went to a nearby beach. Elsie had a ball. Last year she didn't like the beach at all. I think this summer will be different!
Samuel got to dip his toes in too.
It was such a sunny day, so Elsie was kind enough to let him borrow her hat. ;-)
Hope you all have a great weekend and Father's Day!
