"Christmas Photos"

Sam recently turned 10 months old, and is showing signs that he'll be walking soon! He is getting braver each day and is letting go and standing on his own.

Sam exploring the laundry room.

This afternoon I attempted to take a photo for our Christmas cards. Wow, what an adventure... It was so hard to get both looking AND smiling at the camera simultaneously. Actually, it never even happened. Here are some of our attempts! :)

Can you feel the love?

Here they are dancing away to Christmas music (but still not looking and smiling at the same time). Oh, and thanks to Dad for the structural support while I try to take pictures of the top halves. ;)

More dancing!

half way there...

No, look over here!

Lots of Sam

Well our computer is working so much better since Matt's freed up a lot of space. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a nice day with family from both sides. I don't have any pictures from Thursday, but Samuel really enjoyed his first Thanksgiving feast. We sure had/have so much to be thankful for! Here's one of a few random photos from the past week, little Samuel waiting patiently for his lunch.

Still waiting...

Feeling less patient. ;)

Elsie called me over to show me a sunshine imprint she made in the blue play dough we concocted. I really like the little face she made on it with a toothpick.

Now a days nothing is sacred for Elsie anymore. Sam pulls himseld up on everything and gets into all sorts of things. ;)

Samuel loves his bathtime!

Whoa, that's one excited girl!

Her first "piggy" tails. :)

Elsie sure is a good helper.

Aww!

She's so nice to him, most of the time. ;)

Kisses overload. "Save me mom!"

What a goof, playing with the top to his sippy cup.

Wait, that sled is supposed to be for Christmas, and I hope we have NO reason to use it before then!

My little elf.

Feeding his favorite little buddy some lettuce.

Sam got to use the Baby's First Thanksgiving bib this year. :)

More Reminiscing...

Like I mentioned in my last post, our computer isn't working properly and I can't upload new pics from my camera. So I decided to go back and reminisce with old photos of the kids! Here's sweet little Elsie at one week old.

And again at a week old.

And little Sam, a couple days old. :)

He's a couple days old here too.

Wow they grow so fast! Was Elsie really that little when we brought Sam home?! ;) Oh, and a funny Elsie saying for the day... Last night at dinner she told me "I'm going to eat all my apple sauce because it has good vitamins for me, and my chocolate milk has brown vitamins!" Such a funny girl!

Broken Computer

First of all, no, we didn't have another baby! ;) This is Elsie Rae when she was just a few days old. So tiny! Our computer hasn't been working, (bogged down with my THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of pictures I have saved on it.) and until we get it fixed, or get a new one, I decided I'd reminisce by posting old pictures. Well this is the only one I could upload before the computer crashed again! Oh, and here's a funny tidbit for the day... I told Elsie Rae that she had to get ready for her nap, and she looked at me with a scowl and said "I'm not nocturnal Mom!" Haha.... She's tried this on me before, but gets me every time. She's can be pretty hilarious! Who needs pictures, I can keep posting with the funny things Elsie says! But hopefully we have the computer fixed soon because my the memory card on my camera is going to fill up quick! Have a happy Saturday!

She told me she was a princess when she wears cousin Ava's old tutu. Sleeping Beauty, to be exact. :)

Sam Just A Rocking!

Sam's a quick learner, he watched his sister on the horse and knew just what to do! I'm just not sure the horsie can keep up with HIM! :)

Sammy is still coughing with the occasional wheeze, but is doing MUCH better!

What is this? Our first snow last week! It didn't last long, but Elsie enjoyed it while it was here!

Elsie drawing lady bugs. :)

Yesterday is was time to say bye to our Halloween jack-o-lanterns. Elsie helped roll them down the hill to the field out back.

Those pumpkins were a lot of work, so she decided to stick to something more her size. ;)
